A lot of people are having problems running BF3, here is a little tool that ninja told me about(thnx again mate).

It enables you to make changes to the game that are'nt possible in the game.You can also turn off DX11 which should give a massive FPS boost for those with older cards. Hope it helps.

Hmm i've ran it several times (on win7 ultimate) with no problems. Check their forums and see if theres a solution.
