Whoops Posted October 22, 2011 Report Share Posted October 22, 2011 Sometimes I have to load the page twice, other times it waits for ages, then it can load very quickly! Me or the site? Maybe the ads - ads loading or looking for something/ delay causing the download to pause. Not sure yet. There are times site is OK and as it should be and times its slow. It must be something to do with this site only.a) Something with the current style is doing it - randomly slowing the site down and then it goes fine again Forum database is somewhat corrupt somewherec) One or more MODS (there are a few of this forum is causing a lookup/ the slowing down thing)d) The ads are checking for something causing the delayI dont have the time now but will later disable all ads to see if that makes any difference, then I will look at each module and if necessary disable one by one. I will also change the style. Very time consuming and not sure when it can be done.# EDITDisabled a few ads, seems better now or maybe its all in my head.
