New admins are expected to contribute per month on a subscription basis where the minimum amount is agreed of in advance. Alternatively this service may go offline, which most of you would probably not want to see. Don't like it? Well, there are plenty of other communities to join. Want to apply? Well, you cant . You normally get invited. Having said that we do need more mature admins. What to do? Get to know us better! either whilst being in-game or through our website - dont come here and just 'demand' to become an admin, you will most likely be kicked OFF our servers. Do not xfire/steam (whoops) about becoming an admin. You may apply by submitting this form http://www.epicdot.com/forum/application-forms.php?do=main&appid=1 (and it will be checked on a regular basis) please note that no replies may be given (due to resources) or you may not receive any notification about your application 'other than it has been submitted to a secure area). It is not because we ignore you but we dont have time to reply to everybody to say you have been approved/declined etc. If approved, it is highly likely because an admin knows you already or that you have been watched. Big headed power freaks do not need to apply! You must be able to communicate in English. This is an ENGLISH server with players from all around EU and the US. If you are unable to communicate in good understandable English - you will not be considered. You should also understand as part of joining the admin group, it is also important to check on the site for updates etc. when you have 2 minutes spare. We appreciate you may busy with studies or work hence we are looking to add more admins, every little helps if we do a little now and then it could become a good service for our players. You will not be asked to be online 24/7 or play as much as possible, if you think so get a life and play elsewhere . Our duty as admins is not just about kicking people off the servers. It is also about social networking, invite new players to |ED| and make players feel 'welcome' when starting for the first time. Any N00B talk should be avoided, you were once the same, remember. If you should be removed from the trial group (as an admin), which can happen at any time - it is very likely that you have been removed either by attitude, never/ rarely visited site or in general not followed |ED| rules, or simply not mature enough for what was required (without being rude). You may also be removed without a prior notification or warning (we dont like paper work, we've got a real jobtoo). You may apply again at a later date.
