I'm pretty sure it should be "players". And to be honest one person wont do anything. How to get more people on it ? Join with friends so others would notice that someone plays there - nothing else.

Well Gazz forgot to wrote that not everyone who donate will be "automatically" added to RCON group. Like you wrote , you know you did few things wrong , now people (Admins) from ED must trust you again. About donating , if you dont have spare cash to spend you shouldnt be "torturing" yourself , not all of us are able to donate and noone expects from you to not be able to buy food but donating to servers. Now try to behave and dont give any reasons to ED RCONs to kick/ban you and have fun on ED servers - get some friends , play with them. Its possible if people interested , if server stays empty it probably wont last long. Also if they (server providers) wont scr.w something up (lags/freezes) , it should be pretty good

Since every server needs to be rented individual (and payed) , second server should be OBJ (DEM/DOM/HQ). Because two TDM servers with the only difference of map packs doesnt seem to be worthwhile. And if that would be the case then maybe something like this would be a better choice : 1 - TDM (with default maps) 2 - TDM (with DLC map packs ONLY)

I only got ESCALATION DLC. But will get the rest when they will cut the price a bit. But like Whoops said , you dont need any DLc's to play if server doesnt use them (if it uses them - you probably will be "dropped" when map from map pack starts).

Probably cuz it wasnt ED server I can give you (and everyone else) a great advice , when you see Chopper Gunner in a package ... leave it and run like hell , or admin will ban you

One person will never decide for everyone. So if you think that your idea would work better , gather more people from FFA and tell them to post about it in your thread. More people interested , bigger chance for change

Not really a debate , it was already said that all MW2 servers will be "killed" cuz we are going towards the direction of "every server provided by ED genuine/legit". So its more "when" than "if" choice in that case You have right to not know it , cuz you joined us not so long ago (RCON group and community). ED made bigger changes/decisions after shorter time periods , ED wasnt started with aIW MW2 servers and you can be more than sure that it wont end with them or by them. I would even say that it was much better before adding MW2 servers , more people respecting what you do and being thankful for providing place for them. And now ? Kids whining about everything and everyone. Telling you how much you suck and that they can troll your server as much as they want and you cant do anything about it. I wrote that I wont reply anymore , but wanted to answer what you wrote so ... ( I wont reply anymore [x2] , if I wont be asked to in this thread - I'm pretty sure I wrote everything already ).

I would never thought that you will say/write it. Since you were already here when it was said that it never was/is a "job". Also as Whoops wrote it long time ago , "its our choice/option to try and provide friendly playground , but never job". PS. But since it seems that I'm the only one who thinks about "killing" all MW2 servers , I wont reply in this thread again.

Not sure if it was this one ( I could check before posting this but then it wouldnt have much sense ) but I remember we played some IRC quiz years back. I also remember categories like "Queen" etc. we had tons of fun with this , but it wasnt so funny when we played it with only 2 people (or less) , since we always ended up with category that only one of us knew Seems this one is going more into "what kids watch this days" categories , rather than default : Naruto Anime LOTR (?) But what can we expect when everyone prefer to use TS now

Well it always depends from players. When I found a server on which I had a good time and people there were friendly , I came back (DEM/DOM servers - since I dont play any other OBJ gamemodes). I have no idea what others like to do when they want to play a game or two , but I prefer to play on 1 server than jump from one to another. Same "appeared" on ED DEM/DOM servers since always same regulars are joining site to report , true that probably more people join the same HC server than DOM but we shouldnt lie to each other , OBJ gamemodes arent those with a lot of players , since most prefer just to sit in a corner and care only for kills rather than obj It was written at least 4 times that it will happen , but at this moment there is nothing that we could add instead of those removed ...

Not really a shame. And HC players arent the only one , its easier to say that every other game mode (DEM/DOM/etc) provides "nicer" crowd than S&D , since its not like HC is the only mode/server on which nice people play. But S&D is the worst for sure. Affordable isnt probably the biggest problem here , since it is hosted from own dedi and not rented from 3rd party. Problem is dealing with all crap that comes with it , and "appreciation". Is that a joke 3 - 4 ? what would that change ? since now most servers that are full all the time are probably 4 of them. I dont see any reason in "holding" 4 servers if it doesnt make any difference 4 or 9 , since it doesnt matter 4 or 9 = same problems. Leaving TDM and one FFA or DOM/DEM and it couldnt be better. Someone would like to play different mode , then he should look for other MW2 servers provider that will deal with all their (players) crap. So many people are posting how sh.tty ED servers are and that it isnt a problem for them to leave , I would help them with that - doing what I wrote earlier.

One thing that they added really bothers me , and thanks to that I started thinking if I should get the game , that would be ... ability to going prone. It was the only thing that saved BBC2 from being totally camping game , cuz it didnt had that option (prone). But it seems they went the way of CoD = "go for those things, kids are whining about , cuz most of our games will be bought by them".

Someone lied to you. Noone will be banned from ED servers for using any weapon/perk unless it will be stated in server name or console messages. And at this moment all ED servers are using same rules "All weapons/perks allowed".
