  1. Wouldnt worry about that if the KF server is popular, we can always add more KF's hehe.
  2. Most maps should be there already, only two maps removed. This is not the right section for this.

  3. This is what Cafe - Random Topics is for. Just called something else to avoid the naming convention that ALL other forums are using.
  4. Sometimes you have to encourage people Besides, we dont have 400 active forum members but when we do... we might as well get things right now. It is easier with sections but NOT 150 topic sections found elsewhere. That is messy and to looooooong to scroll. People dont like that.
  5. It is not crashing now since I changed.

  6. Anyone playing this game?
  7. Elsewhere it would have been deleted but not here. It is sometimes good to show people that we have nothing to hide and afterall; there are some good people here. However, I will close the thread.
  8. Sounds good. I would be interested in them all hehe. Will add tonight.
  9. We have always said we would expand our service to other locations. Why? Well, we are a global service or trying to. Which means not everybody will have low pings connecting to our London servers. 2 new locations will be up in the next couple of weeks. As a trial first to see if performance is good. Only one server from each location. South East US (New York/New Jersey) Germany
  10. Reserved for the new Killing Floor server. Server is being tested, need to play with the configs. If you wonder why it only has 6 slots... that is what the system can take max 6 slots .
  11. You could also play on another server? How about EpicFailure servers? If our servers are EpicShit, why are they always full? You may want to look up @ wiki what 'constructive' feedback means.
  12. We are likely to change in the next couple of weeks the URL from epicdot.com/forum to epicdot.com and have the forum in root of the folder. It was initially done this way to avoid clashes and allow testing when SMF first was installed, then the social network site and finally vbulletin. I think we now have found a stable environment and can start the 'clean-up' process removing old files. Search engines also like the root folder as in epicdot.com and not epicdot.com/forum. Not sure when since it requires database backup, migrate, move files etc. I need some good time for it. Another problem is that search engines have already used the .com/forum for a while, and if you now google search for 'epicdot' there are many more results coming up. Our site is also being hit by new visitors as well as from a global point of view. Might be better to just leave things 'as they are'. I will analyse some stats and review in a week's time. Will certainly remove the old files as a start
  13. Forms link for the 'submit cheaters' and 'RCONs' now OFFLINE for maintenance. However, you can still use the forms to submit cheaters and apply for RCON http://www.epicdot.com/forum/misc.php?do=forms the revamped section will be online later. The existing link is also under 'Quick Links'.
  14. Could be the game type that is causing it. Every new server is using the same 'core' base (clean) of files and config. If one server gets an update, the others follow the day after. They should be the same. There is a fix (.iw file replacement), think jeremy posted it earlier. Dont have time now but can probably edit the file(s) later in the week.
  15. Can you upload to here: http://www.epicdot.com/forum/downloads.php?do=cat&id=3 please, I would like to test the download system.

  17. Copy & Paste from the .net The Modern Warfare 3 Files: Exclusive First Details on the Biggest Game of 2011 Brian Crecente — Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is coming Nov. 8, 2011, Kotaku has learned, delivering with it mammoth battles that engulf a dozen cities around the world including New York, Paris and London. Multiple sources have shared details of the game's story, art, sounds and game modes with Kotaku, noting that the game will reshape the landscape of the Call of Duty franchise, bringing an impressive number of eclectic settings, deep multiplayer gaming and a story that ties up nearly all loose ends from previous titles, including the final moments of key figures in the series' history. While we haven't seen the game in action ourselves, we've gone to great lengths to nail down as much as possible the veracity of our sources. We believe that the imagery and chief details are accurate. That doesn't mean things can't change before release, but this appears to be a full run down of where Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer Games and Raven Software is on Modern Warfare 3 as they add the final polishing touches. The game opens moments after the cliffhanger ending of Modern Warfare 2 with the U.S. struggling to stave off a surprise Russian attack. The single-player campaign will ping-pong players around the world as they take on the multiple throwaway roles as a Russian Federal Protective Services agent, SAS Operative, tank gunner, and AC-130 gunner as well as key characters from previous installments and new recurring characters. The game will feature about 15 missions, kicking off with the invasion of Manhattan by a Russian force and wrapping up with a final encounter in Dubai. The plot, as described, seems to be keeping with developer Infinity Ward's habit of delivering complex, short sequences punctuated by lots of gunfire and scene changes. The game also has players take control of several vehicles, returning gamers to the AC-130 gunship as a gunner and plopping them down in a tank as part of a U.S. Armored Division. The single-player campaign, which appears to wrap up most of the unanswered questions and character fates of the first two Modern Warfare titles, also introduces new characters who appear to be destined for future Modern Warfare games, especially two Delta Force operatives codenamed "Frost" and "Sandman". Multiplayer in the game returns with a chunky list of playable maps as well as two types of Spec Ops modes: "Survival" and "Mission". Activision, the series' publisher, still hasn't officially unveiled any details about the game, though executives have said that a new Call of Duty game was coming this year. Last year's Call of Duty: Black Ops, developed by Treyarch, sold more than 7 million copies in the first 24 hours and within six weeks reached $1 billion in sales. Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer Features Battles in Brooklyn, Clash in Mogadishu Brian Crecente — Packed with 15 levels set in locations around the world, from Manhattan to the catacombs of Paris, Modern Warfare 3's near-future campaign looks to be an experience that will top anything seen before in a Call of Duty game. Multiplayer, too, seems to be shaping up to be an experience packed with new maps, experiences and ways to game. Sources tell Kotaku that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will have as many as 20 multiplayer maps, though it's unclear if some will be cut before release or perhaps sold later as expansion packs. The game will also include a powerful mix of mission-based and survival Special Ops modes. While the mission-based levels will be designed like the ones made popular in Modern Warfare 2, we're told, the survival maps will have players fighting until they're overcome by increasingly difficult waves of enemies. While we haven't seen the game in action ourselves, we believe that the imagery is accurate. That doesn't mean things can't change before release. 18. Battlefield 3 leaps ahead of its time with the power of Frostbite™ 2, the next instalment of DICE's cutting-edge game engine. This state-of-the-art technology is the foundation on which Battlefield 3 is built, delivering enhanced visual quality, a grand sense of scale, massive destruction, dynamic audio and incredibly lifelike character animations. As bullets whiz by, walls crumble, and explosions throw you to the ground, the battlefield feels more alive and interactive than ever before. In Battlefield 3, players step into the role of the elite U.S. Marines where they will experience heart-pounding missions across diverse locations including Paris, Tehran and New York. Unparalleled Vehicle Warfare — The best online vehicle warfare experience gets even better with a fitting sonic boom as fighter jets headline an impressive lineup of land, air and sea vehicles. Other returning fan favourite features include 64 players for PC and prone. It is very likely that there will be an |ED| server available once the game has been released.

    Arcade

Of course, we can have non scoring games. At the moment 90% are non scoring games hence I have not added more. I thought most people would like the score to be added but we can do both the only problem adding so many new games, is to to put them into categories unless I ignore that.
  20. Whoops

    Arcade

Arcade is up BUT lots to do, only games where the score can be saved will be kept. Eventually there will be thousands of games.
  21. Are you talking to yourself?

  22. Couple of bugs. Reverted until fixed.
  23. Yes I think that would work better. Navbar with dark font.
  24. Appears to be OK again but it will probably go up and down for a little while until network is sorted.
