Maybe something has changed on the other PCs/Laptops? Installed any programs? When you have this ping problem, is it just the laptop that you are using and the others are fine? If it is just the laptop that you are using, problem can be isolated and it will be easier to identify. What game is it, MW2 or COD4 / something else? What is the speed of your internet (if known)?

I think we will see more MMORPG based games in the future, have added a section. It is under 'Social Network' since we dont actually host any MMORPG games yet.

This section will cover both official and private WoW discussions, sharing and some game fun. You may have guessed... yes we will trial a private WoW server - give us 4 weeks and we should have the server ready for play. We need developers who can work on the WoW project as well as admin the server/game. Fixed COD4, COD2 and COD still got problems including WaW via Steam - single player OK but not multiplayer. The ones that were fixed was due to the dual graphic card setup in my laptop. I forced the system to use the GeForce card. Have no idea why I bought the other COD games as they are pretty crap - similar to CS graphics lol.

Anybody got widescreen problem when using Steam? As an example: my DVD version of WaW works fine but Steam version, resolution gets all messy and I am unable to change resolution or widescreen. There are some tools like this available http://www.widescreenfixer.org/ but surely I should not have to use those? Must be a way around this or setting. Got the same problem with COD4/2. I was going to manually do this in console: \r_customMode "1366x768" \vid_restart Will try later.

What strikes me is that I would have been quite happy with the COD4 engine but large maps, more options and features. Newer games are heavy and you don't really get the same return. A 64 slots COD4 with huge maps haha that would have been fun.

Downloaded via Steam, tested for 10min. Must say... pretty crap but better than CounterStrike having said that, I can see the fun playing for 30 min or so as a break. OK so I got 3 games for £9.99, the WaW much better but now Ive got 3 legit copies hehe. 1 Steam and 2 DVD's WTF!.

Bought these when it was 'sale' a good while back. Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3 Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3 - Uprising But... I havent actually played them yet. May have done RA3 once. Just never had the time. Now, realising its under my Steam list - should really give it a try when/ if I am bored one day. Any of you guys playing the above?

Not forgotten and still there. They have always been tracked by Gametracker. They were once very busy and full 24/7, later players moved on to other games and in general thousands of servers came offline. We kept our servers online but they have not been advertised that much. With the recent discount from Steam, more players may join WaW servers? Have added its own section so it is easier to discuss/share.

Dont get the MW2. The way it peers to each other really sucks. There will probably be a BO pack with discount once MW3 is released (maybe) or later. I am collecting cheap games now lol Got the MW2 in a different Steam but maybe when reduced down to £2.99 or something I'll buy to my collection

Just bought since it was 50% off. Call of Duty Call of Duty 2 Call of Duty 4 Call of Duty United Offensive Call of Duty World at War I have always wanted COD2/4 legit and do have WaW on DVD, but I prefer to have everything in Steam now. Can be easily moved from one pc to another and easy to backup. Dont have to mess around with CD/DVDs and what not. For the price on offer, it is OK. Once I have downloaded and tested, I will add servers you can buy my DVD versions lol. If anybody got a copy that I can use as server files (my Steam is still downloading) and zip the whole folder, let me know. Need for the following: Call of Duty 2

Anybody know the real spec apart from the rumours 3.7 screen, wifi n, more storage, ios5, iPad CPU/GPU (graphics 10 times better than iphone4).

Get the BO DLC's 50% off. I may get some of the other older titles to keep everything under steam.

Grrr... getting really tired of the TF2 servers. They need to be updated on a weekly basis! Why cant they ****ing do one big update like others!!!

Server is full. May have to increase to 32 slots if it keeps busy but early days still.

We have added a RUSH server (24 slots), note that it will be closed if not used over the next month or so. The game play is great and we should try to keep it. We are also looking into the new BF3 with 64 slots... well at least 32 hehe. Just so that you get an idea what the providers will have to cope with. The new BF3 uses twice as much CPU power as the BC2 game from the server side of things. A 64 slots setup is fairly expensive but we will see.

If enough players would like this, yes. Probably best to rally up some people and get them to the forum to discuss.
