The quad cannons were really powerful, especially when they ranked up. I also loved the little tanks with the missiles, a large group of those could take down even the biggest chinese tanks. I liked the toxin general, just because a single toxin trooper could empty a building solo, or you could get lots around your base, firing at the ground and the puddles of toxin would prevent any stealth units. Oh and the angry mob, stupidly powerful in large groups. But Jarmen was insane. If you got him to the max rank his sniper rifle basically turned into a fully automatic with massive range. You could take down an army of infantry with just him, then snipe an approaching vehicle and get a worker in there. Yeah you can tell i love that game I only stopped playing it because every match i went into ended up with a map hack cheater kicking my arse then laughing about it. EA didn't seem to care.

YESSSS! And it's being done by bioware, a company that doesn't often go wrong. I've played every C&C game and will be getting this one as well I loved the first generals, my favorite army being the GLA. I used to sneak Jarmen Kell into the enemies base, snipe the driver of a dozer and then use it to build a tunnel inside the base. Happy days

Just posted on shoutbox woof. Try clearing your web cache and cookies first, if that doesn't work then try using a web proxy like HideMyAss to see if your ISP is blocking it. If neither of those things work, post a reply.

That might be down to ping rather than fps.

I did do a good check on my connection Hype, as far as i can tell i have no problems with any other games, just AIW, and it's not just epicdots server so i can't blame you lot Things have once again settled down all on their own -.-, but next time this happens i will try both of your suggestions. I guess i have to wait for the problem to occur again to know if i fixed it or not. The thread you linked hype will be especially helpful in finding whatever the problem is. Thanks guys.

Yeah you really should be getting better performance from that rig neca, 4GB of ram may be your issue if you're running vista/win 7 as they tend to eat resources. I've got 12 GB of ram and windows 7 with some basic programs is using 20% of it most of the time even without a game running. If you have vista/win7 there should be a gadget for monitoring your ram in real time, worth opening it up and seeing how your system is performing under medium load. Also check your temperatures and do a basic maintenance of the PC. Clean the registry out, update all drivers, delete any large cache files, empty your page file etc.

Ok so i need some help guys. The last couple of days my lag has been spiking up and down, it'll go from a 40 ping to 100 and back down again in a few seconds, obviously this leads to some teleporting and i can't play. Well i can play but it's not fair on others. Oh and sometimes it seems to completely clear up for no apparent reason. Nothing has changed, my computer is the same, connection the same etc. I tested my connection, still running at 30 mb downstream/3 mb upstream. No lag on other games, downloads speed along and everything else seems fine. Checked firewall logs, made sure ports are open but i can't can't figure it out. Anyone have any suggestions please?

OMG! I loved the original, played it on my old 486, or 386 i can't remember, then i got syndicate wars. It was such a good game i hope they didn't ruin it.

It wasn't sympathy roach, I stuck up for him only because i thought he was just a good player, some odd kills yes but i thought they were just lucky or educated wallspams. Your video is undeniable though. I guess we can all be fooled sometimes

Imo this doesn't prove hack, sorry roach but a good sniper keeps a 360 lookout.

I stuck up for mo because hey i like to spam some walls on certain maps, (terminal stairs spawn point for example), but yeah this is undeniable cheating

Jack should have just laughed off the accusations by random players in game, that's what most of us do. I think nearly everyone in this thread has been called a hacker at some point and we just ignore it.

Boss you can compress video files to make them smaller using windows live movie maker. Save it as HD video or online video and it should cut it down to around 200 mb.
