tested with james last night, both can connect to mw2.epicdot.com but we cant see each other, when he tried with his brother today he can connect using console but still cant see each other in the lobby does not make sense

portgas, upload speed is important when hosting games not download, the more upload speed (real speed) the better and less lag. 832 kb/s should be able to cope with 8-12 players, each player pulling 55/60 kb/s to/from host on average

on a normal adsl connection, should be able to host 8 players, any more and lag may start, james you lag a little try to switch off any torrent etc (if any) and nobody else using your connection
